DanceSport Alberta sustains and advances dance by addressing the needs, concerns, and interests of dancers, teachers, coaches, officials and organizations.

By providing regional leadership and services, DanceSport Alberta enhances the infrastructure for dance creation and distribution, education, and dissemination of information.

Strategic Plan and Vision

1. DanceSport Alberta will lead the competitive ballroom dance industry in Alberta Region  (Alberta, Saskatchewan and North West Territory  “ the jurisdiction” by providing value to a strong, diverse membership base and encouraging the membership to be responsive to current economic, demographic and participation realities.
2. DanceSport Alberta will represent the interests of its members through affiliation, communication and co-operation with the Canadian Amateur DanceSport Association and regional organizations within Canada.
3. DanceSport Alberta will be accessible to all amateur ballroom standard and Latin dancers through membership and will embrace strategic partnerships on a local, regional and national level to increase visibility, relevance and impact.
